The integration of China's counter industry with 5G has established a new paradigm of intelligent measurement centered on end-to-end cloud collaboration. In industrial sites, 5G low latency (<1ms) and high reliability support AI visual counters to process over 100 frames of images per second, achieving high-speed production line counting with a 0.1% error rate. For example, Beijing Zhongying Global Equipment has served over 500 enterprises; In the field of energy, smart meters achieve high-frequency data upload and remote power control through 5G IoT network cards. A single network card is suitable for household scenarios, and a multi network card ensures a reduction of over 60% in power grid disconnection time. Relying on China Mobile's '5G+edge computing' platform, the industrial counting equipment has completed data cleaning and real-time analysis at the edge side. The key indicators are only uploaded to the cloud, and the transmission efficiency has been improved by 90%. More importantly, China has taken the lead in formulating the world's first industrial 5G international standard IEC PAS 63595:2025, led by the Institute of Integrated Technology and Economics of Mechanical Industry Instrumentation, in collaboration with companies such as Huawei and Hongrun Instruments, to establish communication architecture and use case specifications, achieving a leap from 'technical application' to 'standard output'. The industry is accelerating from 'single point measurement' to 'global perception+intelligent decision-making', providing a high-precision and high resilience data base for intelligent manufacturing and smart energy.
