The Chinese base industry is accelerating its transition from 'passive maintenance' to a new infrastructure system of 'active perception and intelligent collaboration' under the empowerment of 5G. Relying on the characteristics of 5G connectivity, low latency, and high reliability, over 15000 underground comprehensive pipe galleries across the country have fully deployed 5G private networks and IoT terminals, achieving millisecond level feedback of more than 20 types of parameters such as temperature and humidity, harmful gases, and structural deformation. Inspection efficiency has been improved by more than three times, and fault response time has been compressed to 10 seconds. The China Telecom Taicang project has achieved autonomous inspection and automatic alarm of pipeline robots through 5G+AI, successfully warning of multiple gas leakage risks; China Tower UN Power has built the world's first 'shared power tower', integrating 5G communication, environmental awareness and edge computing functions on the high-voltage transmission tower, saving more than 40% of land and construction costs for a single tower. The total number of 5G base stations reached 4.838 million, accounting for more than 60% of the world's total, supporting more than 20000 '5G+Industrial Internet' projects, and promoting the digitalization of infrastructure facilities such as municipal, energy, and transportation. The '5G Scale Application 'Sail' Action Upgrade Plan' specifies that by 2027, the 5G penetration rate of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises will exceed 45%, and China is building the world's most complete 'perception transmission decision-making' intelligent ecosystem.
